A Gift

The SSS Challenge is to make a gift so I thought I'd make myself a gift since it happens so rarely.

I have made up a Kaiser Organiser and I love it so much that I'm going to get another one....

The papers I have used to cover it are The Paper Loft Well Worn Pinstriped and Field of Daisies and Graphic 45 baby 2 Bride collection Endless Love
I have added lots of bling some of which is Prima swirls and Kaszazz words and swirls.
The single pearls and rhinestones are from my stash

Scrapbooking Retreat

I spent the weekend in a town called Coobowie which in summer would be beautiful but in the middle of winter it made for perfect scrappin weather. It was wet and windy so what better way to spend it than with friends being creative.

I have already put some pics up of some of my creations from the weekend but that was not all I managed to create.
I have finished the card order for Dubai

I have made a card for my fathers 60th (good thing he doesn't look at my blog).
It is quite suitable given that I'm giving him lots of Haighs chocolate that he can pig out on

I'm ready for a 21st coming up soon. This one I need to ring home to check if he was a red or green person (I'm sure the farmers wives will understand this one)
The tractor has been painted with Green Apple smooch, I found some wheat pattern paper.
I painted the number with fluid chalk olive pastel, the crackle painted over the top then distressed the edges with olive pastel.

I have made another card to be sent to Holland for an Aunt
I have used 20's Evie from Tickled Pink Stamps.
The background card has been sprayed with smooch spritz
I have added a Kaszazz flower and a stamp I picked up a few years ago

I have started my christmas presents with this little off the page handbag, there is another that is still a work in progress

I even manged to get some scrapbooking pages done, the 2 double layouts below I picked up form the Scrapbooking Superstore in Penrith, NSW when I was over there at easter. I have finally managed to put them together

Birthday Easel Card

Sorry about the quality of the photos the lighting was really poor tonight

August is a busy birthday month.
This one has been created using My minds eye Just dreamy 2 Dazzling Girls Only pattern paper and red & blue cardstock.
I have used a doilie behind the Tickled Pink 60's Hippy Willow.

I have used flowers from enthaily, I finally found some Henbury butterflies that I love, and a swirl from Tim Holtz swirl die.

The image has been coloured using Lyra watercolours.

This card will also be entered in:
Simon Says Stamp and Show - Things with wings
Papertake Weekly - Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue
Charisma Challenge - Easel Card

SSS Summertime Blues

This one is for one of my best friends, who recently celebrated her birthday
I have used bazzill bling for the sky and bazzill cardstock for the water and sand
Under the towel I have added some sand coloured flower soft for texture.
The images are from the July store set from whiff of joy.
All images coloured with Lyra watercolour crayons

MMSC#66

Quiet weekend

I don't have many followers but I thought I'd let you all know to stay tuned for more projects that will be turning up later next week.
This weekend has been full of gardening, washing and busy packing up the scrapping gear to head out for retreat on Friday.
So there should be lots to see here next week.
Until then have fun
