It has been a long time between posts.
Life has just been flat out!
I am still teaching my class once a month.
Now I'm in the process of creating christmas cards.
I thought I would share some of my creations so far.

This is still a work in progress

New Era - Teaching

Well I have finally started teaching, card making.
My first class was a cuttle bug based class.
Teaching the ladies how to use the cuttle bug with embossing dies

I was very happy with how the girls did and have got a bit of an idea of where we are at and what has been done before.

I hope you like them

This is the Whimsical Tree gold embossed

The Silver card is the Kaszazz decoration. The raised one is embossed. The other 2 are stamped in silver

Birthday Time

I have been very busy creating birthday invitations for my son's first birthday
He is mad about dogs, if he sees them out and about his little legs rub back and forth, the arms start waving and he makes lots of happy noises.
It is very cute to watch.
So I have been making lots of dogs, this picture only shows a small selection.
Again I have used a Treasure Box Designs pattern.

I have used cardstock and Tim Holtz distress inks and blended around the edges to give him character.
I have made him so that his head lifts up and the party details are inside
I am loving how well they have turned out

Daisy girl

I have been busy lately trying to be creative.
This one is a paper piecing pattern from Treasure Box Designs.

I have used Tim Holtz distress inks and blending tools to give the added colour.
I have also curled over the petals of the flowers to give her some depth.

I am very happy with how she turned out.

This Bubba keeps me busy

Since my little man arrived on the scene I have not had much opportunity to get much done in the way craft. I have made the odd card as events and birthdays arise but otherwise trying to get things done for me just doesn't happen. I'm looking forward to getting back into the swing and being creative again but for now I will just enjoy being a mum before I return to work

Christmas Cards Vol II

I have been busy working on some more christmas cards.

I have been using my new couture creations embossing folders, smooch, glitter and bling.
I have used traditional christmas colours and some other non traditional colours this time

The first christmas tree is mounted on green card, this can also be done in red.
Colours used are Tiara and Holly
I can also do this design with Blue and Red Glitter.
I have also done this in Platinum and Copper which looks very effective, looks better with Rhinestones.
Colours used are Platinum and Copper

The other embossing folder is a bauble tree, which I have coloured some of the baubles in and added rhinestones
Colours I decided to use are Blue and Purple with Silver Stars and Sassy Pink and Purple with Silver Stars (Gold star on top of tree).

Mounted on purple cardMounted on Pink card
Mounted on Blue Card.

All cards are $2 each.
I can also do the same christmas trees as last year.
Remember to get your orders in early

Thanks
Angela

Christmas Cards

Wow, I can't believe how long it has been since I have updated my blog.

I have been very busy with my baby boy who arrived in late July. He is a fantastic little bubba and melts my heart with his beautiful smile.

Anyway enough about me, I have been asked if I'm making Christmas Cards again this year and the answer is Yes.
I have started on a few designs.

I have recently purchased some new embossing folders from craft concepts, 2 new christmas trees which I'm still working on and some Candles with holly as pictured below.
The price is still $2 each
These cards have been done with a red and green background.
The red berries are red rhinestones
Sentiments you can choose from is a selection from lilly of the valley stamps, they are:
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
Season's Greeting Wishing you a Joyous Christmas
Merry Christmas May your days be Merry & Bright
Merry Christmas Warmest thoughts & Best Wishes
Stay tuned for some more designs.
To ensure you have your cards with enough time for posting please order before the end of October at the latest.

Thanks
Angela

Gone Fishin.....

I picked up a new stamp set this weekend and I have a male birthday coming up.
This stamp is perfect for him!

I have coloured him using distress inks and he is looking a bit green around the gills in my photo but he doesn't really look like that. (Taking photos tonight is not proving easy with poor light and an overcast day)
I have used jute around the edge of the image for some added texture
I have tried to make it look like the sign is hanging from the jute The sketch I have used is from totally papercrafts Thanks for stopping by

Some more flower soft

I have been busy with the flower soft lately. I have made up a few of the 3D pictures now I'm slowly putting them onto cards. My mum came down for a surprise visit and needed a birthday card so I have whipped this one up for her.
I have added some lilac pearls down the side as it looked empty when I thought I'd finished

The image is from flower soft. I added the flower soft to the sections of the garden you can see from the window not through the window

I have used the sketch from Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge #98

Simon Says.....Domis sketch

I have found some mojo and started getting back into making some cards......finally.....
This time I have pulled out some 3D flower soft images I found when I moved everything around.

Whilst I don't have all the colours of flower soft I have adapted where needed and I think it has come up pretty well.

I have used papers from the basic grey kioshi paper pad and the cappella paper pad

Roses are from Enthaily and pearls from my stash

Birthday Time

I have many birthdays coming up and here is the first one I have managed to complete. I have used my new Magnolia Wheelbarrow with Tulips. I have coloured the image with distress inks

The grass was coloured with smooch and some smooch detail added to the tulips The Cardstock I have used is from Prima Jack and Jill paper pad

I have layered the image for a 3D look

Its a Birthday

I managed to get 2 out in one day which is very rare.
Not much crafting has been happening since getting pregnant.
Not only that moving my craft room back into 1 cupboard and back to the dining table has not been much fun. Not enough room in the old farm house for a craft room and a nursery.
Anyway enough about that and onto the card I have made
For this card I have used my Forever Friends For you paper pad.
Inside there is a cute bear that I have cut out and then cut out his head and belly to add some dimension.
I have used my lily of the valley sentiments and flowers from my stash with button centres.
I have tried to use Bizzy becs March colour challenge, chocolate, raspberry, mint and vanilla.
The layout is from Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge #95

Diamonds are a girls best friend

Well I have struggled with finding my mojo of late but I have found enough just to get some necessary cards made.

This one is quite simple but effective.

I have used Five kids and a dog laser cut heart and embossed it with silver.
The card is from Kaisercrafts After Five Collection

Added some bling, and I found the metal lettering in my stash (its amazing what you find when you have to move your whole craft room)

I'm entering this one in One Stop Craft Challenge

The First Card for 2011

Can you believe it has taken me this long to get started for 2011.
Well I have been a little pre-occupied of late.
And this is why.....
This is me at 18.5weeks.

Anyway enough excuses as to why my mojo went missing, I have finally made my first card for the year.
I had to wait to upload this one as it was a surprise for some wonderful friends.
I can't take all the credit for the card either I used components of a design I saw in the Kaszazz project book which was created by Kathleen Rothery.
I have made this a tri fold card (we needed the extra space for writing)
I have added some jute around the edge of the white for that rustic look
I have finally used my Twiddleybitz gum leaves and coloured them up with Olive chalk ink.
The flowers are punched out flowers and then you fringe the petals and crush them to get the desired look.

Thanks for taking the time to check out my post

Sorry

Just thought I would put a quick note up to say I'm sorry to those that are checking out my blog.
I have been snowed under at work and completely exhausted at the end of the day.
Not to mention having lost my scrapping/cardmaking mojo at the moment.
I'm sure it will come back:-)
I am busy on a project at the moment making invitations, lots of invitations.
I am also in the process of moving my craft room into another room as we now need the room that is my craft room back, this is taking forever and once complete which includes a bit of a cleanup at the same time, I will be back in the swing of things.
This should not take too long now, I hope not anyway my stockpile of cards has just about run out.

Cute & Sweet

Bizzy Becs Store is having a cute and sweet challenge this month.
This time I wanted to make something for myself to keep track of all the challenges I do
I found a book with blank pages and I have decorated it using Kaisercraft papers

I loved the letters but I ran out of blue e's so I improvised and pulled out the stickles and made a black one blue. I know it's not exactly the same colour but I still like how it has turned out

I have coloured up my fairy dust tilda who is sitting on some pennants

I have added Magnolia Dragon flies and swirls

Thanks for looking
