More Mens Cards

Well its that time of year for mens birthdays, and there are more to come yet!
Some days its so hard to come up with cards for men, and whats worse there are to be no over the top embellishments. These guys just don't do cute!!!
And I love making cute cards......



These have both been created using the Stampin Up Autumn collection papers.
The top one I have also used the Autumn collection stamps as well
I have distressed around the edges in Wild Honey and Walnut Stain.
All images stamped with Colorbox Chalk Brown.


This card has been stamped with the pine tree from Stampin Ups Lovely as a tree set.
I have distressed the edges with Fired Brick and Walnut Stain.
Image and sentiment stamped with Colorbox Chalk Brown.

I had a good friend come down from Queensland, whilst she was here were busy being creative.

Most of our time was dedicated to scrapbooking and some photography

Wedding Season

I received my wedding magnolia stamps the other day and finally got around to playing with them.
This is my first attempt with them and I'm very impressed with what I've created.

I have coloured in with Tim Holtz Distress inks (thanks Kellie TPS for the tutorial)
The skin was done with Tattered Rose, Hair with Antique Linen and Brushed Cordory
I wanted a different look to the standard white dress so coloured in using Old Paper for a champagne look and some spun sugar for the second layer, the bridesmaid is done in worn lipstick and spun sugar.

I can't recall the cardstock used.

I have used a stamp it sentiment and the Kaszazz large bride & Groom silhouette, both have been embossed the sentiment in black and the silhouette in Fired Brick Distress emboss

I have added some flower soft to the roses, and used the sand flower soft under their feet.

Frosted lace stickles on the veil and pearls for a beautiful necklace and hairpiece.

Flowers are from my stash and have vanilla smooch added

Another Birthday - In the Garden

I had seen a friend of mine create a card similar and loved it.

It is perfect for its intended recipiant.

I have used the Lovely as a tree stamp set from Stampin Up with Brown Chalk ink

I have distressed the background using Tim Holtz shabby Shutters and Stormy sky.

The happy birthday stamp is a Kaszazz sentiment.

1st Birthday

With a special birthday coming up I've created a cute card
I have used Kaszazz picket fence and flower border stamp.

Inside I have stamped Stampavie "Giving Shelter"
Added some stitching in the scallops and pearls at the points.
All images have been coloured using Lyra watercolour crayons

Scrapbooking

I have done some more scrapbooking over the weekend and it has only taken me 2 years to finish my honeymoon album....

I have used Tim Holtz compass mask and shabby shutters on the background.

I have added Tims door hanger for some journalling.

The bling is prima say it in crystals.

I have created this card for a good friend.

I have used Magnolia Harvest Tilda and coloured her with Lyra Water crayons, she also has star dust stickles on her wings an pink stickles on her head band.

The patterned paper is Basic Greys, Wisteria, white dynasty.

I have embossed the oval behind with the cuttlebug daisy embossing folder and added some pearls to the centre of some flowers, I have also distressed the edges of my oval and the pattered paper

The sentiment used is a Kaszazz stamp.
The flowers are from Enthaily, and Margaret Stewarts leaf punch

All flowers have a touch of Smooch Vanilla Shimmer spritz

I have added the charm to run down the lace and is attached by a heart pin

This card has been created as part of the shopping order I received.
I have used Tim Holtz Bundled Sage on the edges of the card.
Stamps used are Kaszazz Picket Fence and Bird House.
I have the roses growing up through the fence.

The Check patterened paper is some scrap I had left
